The harvest Festival was
celebrated on Sunday, August 15th with an old fashioned produce market in
Fellowship Hall and was operated by our very own farmers for the day,
Ralph & Leone Howe. Farmer Howe & Mrs. Howe wore the cutest
farm fashions from the past and sold many potatoes, corn, and radishes in
their friendly manner.
An ice cream social took the
place of our usual coffee and donuts and many memories were talked about
after viewing the video of past Harvest Festivals. Eldon & June
Tessman hosted a wonderful chicken dinner after the 2nd service.
Fellowship hall was filled with Brooklyn folks feasting and enjoying great
fellowship.
