We continue to grow
After WWII there was a period of spiritual rejuvenation, growth and prosperity.  The growth of the Sunday School was rapid.  Building on faith in 1951, a new educational wing was built by volunteers.  However in 1954 it was already found to be inadequate.  In 1958 the ground was broken for a new educational wing, which would include a new kitchen and church offices.

In 1958
the Sanctuary was also remodeled and enlarged.  The pews remained the same but everything else was new.  The lights were made by Frank Frederickson who had a metal shop and made light fixtures for a number of churches in Minnesota.  They were donated to the church by Floyd Smith as a memorial to his daughter Betty Smith who died of leukemia at the age of 27.  After the new church was built in 1970, only these two lights remained and were placed in the stairway leading up to the Fellowship Hall.
