Approximately 3 miles SW of the Taba border, we stopped to dip our feet in the Red Sea and eat our first Egyptian meal.  In the middle of the Gulf of Aqaba is located Pharaoh's Island which houses the crusader fortress built by Baldwin I, King of Jerusalem and the restored citadel of Salah ad-Din.
