Anne Jackson

Anne joined the staff in March 2011 and is excited to meet the youth and families of Brooklyn! Anne graduated from St. Cloud State in 2003 with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. Anne has served congregations in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America as a Director of Youth Ministries for the past six years in Eagan, Circle Pines and Stillwater. Anne is committed to making Brooklyn a welcoming place for all people and has experience working with youth and families with special needs.

Anne is a third year part-time seminarian at Luther Seminary (St. Paul, MN) studying in the Master of Divinity program for pastoral ministry. Starting this August, Anne will be completing her Clinical Pastoral Education at the University of Minnesota Medical Center through June of 2012.

Anne is married to Rodney and together they have a two year old daughter, Ashley Grace. When Anne is not teaching confirmation or hanging out with Brooklyn youth; she loves to go for a walk with her family (including her golden retriever Samson), play the flute, get her hands dirty in the garden, visit the North Shore, read a book in the outdoors, and relax. Anne’s passion is to share the love of Jesus Christ with the youth and families of Brooklyn!
