Jonathan Doe continues our series Don't Skip This Step with Don't Skip The Difficult Parts. The 10 am service includes traditional music with choir, organ/piano and flute. The 11:30 service include praise music with choir and band. Both services are livestreamed and recorded for our worship archives. (Recordings of 10 am service typically begin around the 15 minute mark.)

This series explores 10 straightforward ways to enhance how we read the Word and provides an acronym to recall the primary categories. S - See the Context: What is happening here? Who wrote it and to whom? T - Trace the Story: How does this fit into God's larger story? E - Examine the Meaning: What did it mean then? What does it mean now? P - Practice the Truth: How will I live differently because of what I've read? This gives us not just a sermon series, but a practical tool we can use for years after the series is over as we seek not just to READ the Bible but to UNDERSTAND the Bible.
